Where will we meet on Friday?
We’ll see each other this Friday, March 27, in Brno at the Faculty of Informatics at Masaryk University. You can start arriving between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m., when we’ll welcome you, sign you in, and give you a small gift. Everyone will also receive their own name tag with a lanyard, which you must keep with you and wear around your neck for the entire duration of the competition.
The Faculty of Informatics is located at Botanická 554/68a, 602 00 Brno. When you click on the address, you’ll see arrows on the map pointing to the entrance directly into the building. For those traveling by public transportation, you can take tram lines 1 or 6, which stop right in front of the faculty at the "Hrnčířská" stop. Bus number 32 takes you to the "Botanická" stop, from which it is a one-minute walk directly to the building.

What will we be doing during the competition part of the day?
At the Grand Finale, you’ll continue working on the apps you developed during the Tour de App competition. We just ask that you don’t overwork yourselves before the competition starts and that you get plenty of rest. It’s good to have a functional app, but it certainly doesn’t have to be perfect in every detail.
What we do recommend, however, is to work on the feedback from the competition round. This will give you a slight advantage. If you received a low score for UX, you don’t need to worry too much. It won’t be directly evaluated during the Grand Finale. It may, however, have an indirect impact on the final result.
I have a question about the Grand Finale. How can I contact you?
We’re happy to help and advise you on our official Tour de App Discord, where you’ll find all the organizers and the competition coordinator. You can also find email addresses in the contacts section.
We look forward to seeing you!
